Summer 2010. Construction Team.

During the summer of 2010, I was fortunate enough to work construction, assembly, competition, and dissassembly of the Luukku House for the Solar Decathlon Europe, held in Madrid.
Although not involved in the design, building this project taught me so much about Architecture. From working with the Craftsmen in charge, to seeing innovative ways for wood construction to meet and surpass modern standards; this project was awesome.


It also helps that everyone loved this project, including Glenn Murcutt (on the jury), and it won 1st place (3 way tie) for Architecture.
